Suggested uses
- Fundrasing Drives - say you want to raise some funds for you favorite charity. Simply set a goal which becomes 100%. As donations are made and registered into the system the needle increases and the percentage of the goal reached is display.
- Competitive Events - you can have a race between members of your site or organization and see which one of them is the first to acheive 100% or the highest point in their goal and display it publicly for everyone to see.
- Endless - really whatever your mind can conceive. There are some limitations in design and values but let's talk and see what works for you.
How much does it cost?
More than you want to pay and less than you should be charged! Because the design and engine behind the guage is already done you don't have that very major expense. Your project will be priced based on how involved the math and database are. For simple databases and simple math you can have this on your site for as little as $100 if it is hosted on your web account. (If you cannot store it on your server it can be stored on mine for as little as $10 per year based on complexity and server load.)
What are the requirements
If you want to run it on your server you need PHP5 and MySQL installed and properly configured. Installation on pre-configured servers is included. If you need me to install it into your website we will need to look at your site and determine how you want it installed to make it work. If you have WordPress, Joomla, Drupal or some other CMS the fee for integrating it will vary based on how you want you want it ti be used. It can be created as a widget for use in your pages. |
